With so much uncertainty and disruption, in the tertiary education environment, more and more South African families are considering sending their matriculants and post grads overseas.

But once the world opens up to a lucky, smart student, it’s a big (maybe even overwhelming) planet of opportunity and choice.

That’s why the University Speaking Team has focused on specific countries and what they offer with regard to tertiary study opportunities in 2023.

And of course, we had to start with Ireland.

Ireland is a firm favourite destination with South Africans, offering a safe and friendly environment, opportunities to work while studying and stay back thereafter. Ireland is a base for leading global companies, (particularly in tech and finance) and is the only English speaking European country. Just for starters!
